    Public, private schools in Lahore starts session with 50% attendance



    Schools across the country resume regular classes from today


    From kindergarten by means of sixth grade, private and non-private colleges in Lahore have began periods with 50% attendance.

    On Thursday, Lahore colleges started implementing the timetable established by Punjab Schooling Minister Murad Raas, which requires solely 50% attendance in classes from kindergarten to sixth grade within the Lahore district, with pupils attending courses as common from seventh to twelfth grade.

    After consulting with the NCOC, the supreme authority for formulating anti-corona coverage, the choice was made in gentle of the current spike in coronavirus circumstances in Punjab.

    He tweeted: “In all Public & Personal Colleges, courses as much as Grade 6 can be staggered (50% college students every day) beginning tomorrow January twentieth by means of January thirty first, 2022.”  

    Murad Raas additional mentioned: “Courses 7 by means of 12 will stay on the earlier schedule. Please comply with COVID SOPs.”

    The minister urged college students, lecturers and college workers to put on masks and guarantee social distancing to fight the COVID-19.
