    Police baton charge, tear gas MQM-P protesters in Karachi



    Muttahida Qaumi Motion-Pakistan (MQM-P) employees and police have clashed within the purple zone outdoors the Chief Minister Home in Karachi. A number of individuals have been injured after police resorted to baton-charge and fired tear gasoline on the MQM-P employees.

    The difficulty began after some protesters broke via police limitations close to the CM Home. Police managed to clear the world outdoors CM Home and arrested a number of protestors. The MQM-P is holding a rally in Karachi towards the Sindh Native Authorities Act, 2021 which was handed by the Sindh Meeting in December.

    The rally has disrupted site visitors in a number of areas of Karachi. Reportedly, police have closed roads resulting in the PIDC and Karachi Membership. Areas affected by the protest embody Saddar, Resort Metropole, I.I Chundrigar, Press Membership street, Kala Pul and airport street.

    The MQM in addition to different opposition events determined to strongly resist the Sindh Native Authorities Act, calling it a black regulation, because it takes away all energy from the native authorities representatives and offers it to the provincial authorities.
